YOUTH COMPETITON 2023
Youth is an open grade (under 18), unlike school competition, and we have limited openings for young players or those new to hockey.
Grammar Windsor will be registering teams in the ‘Championship’ grade of youth competition. This is an open competition for all secondary school students. We aim to enter mixed teams of both younger and more senior players.
Teams are finalised by the Easter holidays.
Musters:
We will be holding musters for Youth Girls and Boys teams on three Mondays during March between 7:30 - 8:30pm on the Diocesan School for Girls turf, Clyde Street, Epsom.
Monday March 6, Monday March 13 and Monday March 20.
Our musters are an opportunity to meet the other players, stretch your legs and brush up skills. It is also an opportunity to ask our youth coordinator about the competition and registration. Players new to the grade and or the club will also be assessed on hockey skills.
Please note, no-one is allowed to play on a turf without proper safety gear: that is a mouth guard, shin guards, and closed toe running shoes.
Registrations:
Auckland Hockey youth grade competition is run through PlayHQ. Players register as part of Grammar Windsor and we will allocate you to a team.
If you are registering for the first time with PlayHQ, you create a login for yourself (parent) and then a profile(s) for your child(ren). It is simple and intuitive to use.
You can also pay your fees directly through Play HQ if you opt to pay by debit or credit card.
To enrol please click the register button on the bottom of this page.
